Rick Schuelke has been teaching German 1 to AP/IB at Sunny Hills High School for the past 21 years, he has been a member of the COACH Foreign Language Project for the past seven years and is currently on the board and the CFO. He has been a member of the FLAOC board for the past two years and the Friday Night Live adviser at his school for the past nine years. He has held the president, vice president and testing chair positions for the AATG of Southern California. He has presented for CLTA, CFLP summer seminar, ACTFL, COACH, AATG-SC and the Goethe Institute. In 2007 he received the Orange County Department of Education - Outstanding Contributor to Education and most recently in 2010 the CLTA Outstanding Teacher Award.
